Hell no, England is much worse. Just send with delivery confirmation. I haven't lost a letter or package to Italy in 20 years.

I've send maybe 20-30 packages to Italy last year and never had any problems. Few were registered.

Sent a record to Italy on December 15th or so from Canada with the basic airmail shipping service, no tracking, it arrived about a month later with no problems.

in 20 years of trading/selling i have NEVER had one single claim, and as customer i only had one "lost parcel", from GERMANY, strange that the seller said he had "lost" the references of the spedition, isn't it?

this is more risky, because of shitmas time. but it's the same everywhere.
sent parcels wherever in the world, Montenegro, Thailand, Indonesia, China, and never felt the necessity of opening a thread like this.
