No, it reminds me of Dethroned Emperor, just played a bit differently. The first part is more embarrassing though, there's not a single second I don't think I haven't heard those riffs played before. I think I won't even take the time to listen to the rest.

I don't know how to feel about it. The riffs are good but the vocals are fucking gay. I hope it's a similar exception like the prev's title song and not the general trend.

It's Darkthrone. Given their history, their albums should be expected to live up to some standard- the problem is that they haven't met that standard in a long time. How a band can go from innovators of a genre to generic tribute band is beyond me, but here it is. More to your point, I'd like this song (well, the first half of it) a great deal more if it were a new band and not a classic band pandering to the "OLD SCHOOL!!!" mindset. |

If anything, there would be less people who like it.
This is bad not in the "Ilud Divinium Insanus" sense, this is bad in the sense it is third grade amateurish bland uninspired worship, which can be taken for something actually good if you suggest yourself by the name of band releasing it. |
