I received an order from this e-mail address, sent them a confirmation e-mail that it would be shipped, heard nothing, then a month later they filed a charge back dispute. I sent them an e-mail (to the same address that the order was received, and the same address that I sent confirmation to). They claimed their account was hacked. Why would they not notice that it was hacked WHEN I SENT THEM AN E-MAIL ABOUT AN ORDER BEING SHIPPED THAT THEY DID NOT ORDER??

Yeah, there's some scam going here alright. I had the same thing happen except I haven't had any correspondence with this person.
The items were shipped to the Christine person.

2 years ago I sent him 57€ for an order through Discogs and I never received a thing!
I also waited too much and I couldn't even open a dispute for that transaction but well, that was my mistake.
He never offered a refund nor an alternative solution.
After 2 messages telling me to wait he disappeared....
After that experience I would definitely say to AVOID him but I would like to know more.
That was one of the very few orders I lost in my life.
But, in my opinion, he never sent me that package.... that's why!

^^yes I had a similar worthless buyer from Poland via discogs... from the moment the order came through I had a bad gut feeling about it. considering he was from Poland, had only one feedback which could easily be a fluke, and was trying to buy old expensive records (S.O.B. in this case) no offense to reliable Polish comrades, but there are a lot of shit buyers and bootleggers (the sort that tries to pass items off as originals for top dollar, and not just the ones "trying to keep the scene alive" which are two different things entirely)

Haha, I edited the address out of my post; you make a good point. I was a lot more annoyed earlier and I was hoping a Polish maniac would take a shit on the guy's front porch.
Anyway $10 and a single CD is certainly no big loss. Mostly just pissed me off because he wasted 10 days of auction time and the two weeks afterward.

feel your pain brother! it gets old. I almost added a user from the pure stench forums too simply because he is an annoying mother fucker who has never once purchased anything from me, yet messages me via disogs, etc regularly enough for me to remember him and he's ALWAYS trying to low ball me on higher priced items (when I'm already the lowest priced seller on the site to begin with) and is such a cheap skate he cannot fucking purchase a tape that is marked $3-4. for those instances he always says he is a little broke and can't afford (a $3 tape) and instead offers horrid hardcore crossover "BM" flavor of last week crap in exchange. its predictable and highly annoying. I just got another stupid offer from him just this morning with a plea to sell an item marked at $25 for $18 instead. Mind you the ONE OTHER seller with the same item is asking $46.70 for his copy, so you can see where this fucker gets annoying after a while
what chaps me worse is seeing this individual posts on other said forum ALWAYS talking about obtaining whatever flavor of the week release is hot over there, or something hospital prod related. one of those types... I wonder if Dom offers discounts on Vatican Shadow LPs to gypsies??? HMMMMMM. same gypsy posts recently about how happy he was to score a Vetala demo for $15. WORTHLESS!!! next lowball offer I get from this goon I am posting his info for sure.

I want to assume that person is some teenager(can't afford 4$ tapes cus he spent his lunch money on a 15 dollar tape) and wants to show his acne faced friends at school next week what he owns.
Hopefully in the next year or two he discovers heroin and has to get a job at burger king. |

sadly I "think" the guilty party is at least over 21 (which doesn't necessarily say a lot) but yeah, instead of school, he runs to certain forums for validation on his sweet flavor of the week scores.
