So is the volume actually the only problem for scanning Davthvs #3? I once asked a person owning it for a copy and he said it's tough to do because of some problems with spreading it and because his copy was stained with blood and piss. |

There isn't really any piss. 
Anyway it's a pretty long zine (over 90 pages if I remember correctly). It is also pretty dense with typography and art, and might not look that great without a really high quality scan. The blood shouldn't really matter though. Back when I had a copy I xeroxed it for a friend and it didn't damage the copier at all. I didn't want to do it over and over though. It was funny standing in a crowded Kinko's copying this blood covered thing though. I got some really weird looks.

it seems to be something that needs to be experienced in it totality, but that seems to be a hard thing to do now.
I would pay for a xerox if there was ever a chance.
