And how to sell on ebay.com if I'm located in Germany, France or Italy? I mean you've to change some settings to post on .com or it will be done automatically? |
You need to drop their customer support a line and ask for their special authorization to post on the .com site, specifying what you're planning on selling. Mind you, it's not free: there's a $299 annual fee to pay if you decide to sell records, $199 for tapes, $99 for cds. I'd sell on your national ebay site if I were you. |

this sounds bizarre... i am located in Europe and can place auctions in Germany (where I am not from) as well as the US (and did both recently). The only thing is that you have accept terms by clicking yes and of course you have to be aware of sending cost terms which is for some goods standardised with a maximum amount.... usually when I sell stuff on Ebay I get shitty prices and have to pay the fees on top, when I want to buy something I am always ridicously outbid...... _________________ +++ +++ +++ |

| As mentioned before, Discogs is far superior to eBay. Both for selling and buying. Never had any trouble. |

I don't even check ebay anymore... |
Discogs is starting to go the same way with retarded prices. |
Its starting to at least. Not as much scores to be had all the time anymore. Sometimes something comes up cheap, especially if you limit your scope to older records that are definitely out there. They're not quite like ebay/amazon where every buy it now is like double what its really worth right out of the gate. The prices for a lot is generally more grounded too except for black metal LPs that are out of print (for some reason sellers think its still 2004). I've been looking out for a copy of the first hell militia lp on there for a while, lowest one is still $40 (plus european seller, so i'm expecting $15 minimum shipping), i see this one on ebay for regular price every now and then, and never higher than $30 in any auctions i'veseen |

I was extremely surprised when I managed to sell some rare record to someone from Thailand, as well as stuff like a Midnight shirt (for nearly 50 Euros) to someone from Malaysia |

Once you set up an account with eBay, you can sell other household garbage as well.
Usually games sell very well. Especially old pixelated ones. |

| perhaps so much controversy and problems with buyers and sellers from those locations so the honest and legit ones are more inclined to pay bigger amounts because less sellers will send to them? |

I've considered creating a blog to sell my collection of records and shirts to avoid the fees on Ebay.
Has anyone done this? |
