Definitely some gems on 5-9...let me know if you want me to recommend specific songs from those albums.
And definitely check out The Lost Tracks of Danzig too...there's a few tracks that were best left 'lost' but there's actually a ton of great songs, especially at the beginning.

Samhain - Final Descent , if you are not listening to this already. the A side features the original Danzig lineup and was supposedly recorded during Lucifuge sessions,
B side re-recorded / re-mixed version of Unholy Passion ep
imho 4 contains both the best and worst Danzig tracks ever written

Glenn Danzig > any other musician, for me. I am a massive fan of everything he's been a part of, and have been since I was a little kid. For as well-known he is, he doesn't get enough credit.

Agreed, and to expand on that, the only thing remotely industrial about 4 would be some vocal distortion (if that even counts), 5 is essentially an industrial album, and 6 is just weirdly digital. I really do like 5, despite some incredibly obvious NIN ripoff moments. |

That's such a throwaway release, in my opinion. I think you have some bad info on it- there's only one track that was recorded during the Lucifuge sessions (Death In Its Arms). The rest of it sounds like shitty demo material or something.
The re-mix/re-recording of the Unholy Passion EP is a crime against humanity.  The original is so perfect. |
