Yep. The band is updating the old albums to have covers to match their nowadays style. How fucking gay is that. _________________

The gays pseudo-metalheads buying the rerelease based only by the cover will get some nice surprise. _________________ Scrutare et vide quia propheta a Galilaea non surgit! |

Have you listened to any of these? That cover art looks kinda horrible, but I am more concerned about the sound. I am hoping they didn't remaster / re-record anything. _________________ Sic transit gloria mundi |

I don't need the reissues since I have the originals of two first albums. So I can't comment on sound, but purely based on cover I know it's shit. _________________

You don't like Ophidian Wheel? I don't think I've ever even heard of anyone who likes Esoptron and doesn't love that album. _________________ Sic transit gloria mundi |

| Saw them live(well heard...) last summer and they were terrible... I used to have the Ophidian wheel also long time ago and got bored very quickly and got rid of it... I just remind the voice was pretty deep ... |

I like Sumerian Daemons the most, followed by Mystic Places of dawn.
SD is one of few symphonic albums I like, the atmosphere on that album is outerworldy. _________________ Sack Of Maggots, Maggotsack, Hopeless Pile Of Hopeless Bones.. |

Just heard The Great Mass for the first time and thought it sucked. It sounded like a mix of Dimmu's Puritanical album and the soundtrack for Peter Jackson's The Hobbit. Campy Hollywood Metal at it's absolute worst. _________________ http://www.dissectionforum.dk/ |

| That cover is even worse than the "updated" art on the Necromantia CD reissues. And that's saying something. What the fuck is up with Greece? |

Seth from Septic Flesh is an artist, who makes covers, so I guess its not strange that he does new artwork for the rereleases. I normally dont like photoshop art, but I like his work on SF- sumerian daemons and Rotting Christ sanctus diavolos. Im not sure on what to think of the mystic places rerelease, thoug, I wish they`d gone with the original art. _________________ Sack Of Maggots, Maggotsack, Hopeless Pile Of Hopeless Bones.. |

Mystic Places of Dawn
But as pointed out before, it seems around the time all these Greek band's music began going down hill, they all bought the same 3D software for their album covers... _________________ Malaria
