got this album twice, both from 1999, one on NB and the other on The End Records, there are some artwork differences, anyone knows maybe which is the mainlabel at that time or where the cd was perhaps first release (month earlier or whatever), cannot decide which to keep and to keep both seems dumb. |

The End was the label that "signed" NM at the time for their release of Goat Horns, which was previously released on Oriana, among others. It wasn't a licensing agreement, but an actual signing for 3 releases, all previously released by Oriana, which included To The Gates. The End owned exclusive North American rights at the time. The Nuclear Blast edition was licensed through The End. The End was searching for Eastern European bands at the time and signed Mental Home (re-releasing Vale) at the same time as Nokturnal Mortum. _________________ Helcaraxë - Death Metal
