Never heard of this band whatsoever. Listened to some samples on youtube and ordered in about 30 seconds. Killer find! I wish all new releases were lost gems like this one! _________________

| Has anyone else noticed significant surface noise on their copy? Mine sounds almost like there is a scratch throughout most of side B (especially tracks 2 and 3) but there is no visible scratch and the noise happens at different intervals in the rotation. Just wondering if I have a bum copy or if it's something with the master audio. |

I bought this LP a couple of weeks ago and noticed the same problem, you can hear it on both sides. My LP has some light white streaks (as in some marbled black/white vinyls), maybe they cause this irritating scratchy sound. It's annoying to hear such a great demo like "...And Darkness was Upon" ruined by defective pressing. |

The label addressed this in another thread. The noise is just the imperfections from the original tapes. It's not a pressing error. |
