Damn! All HAILS from KDS crew whoever you are! Edlund is our Father! |
Tiamat is a pretty heavy band with lots of occult leanings and some Gilmour-esque solos. If you're into goth rock, I think it'd be hard to not find some of their stuff pretty appealing. I could listen to them all day. |

The term "pop metal" makes me think of Dragonforce, since they sound like a 33rpm Journey record on 78.
Shit, I was supposed to think of a band I like. Nevermind. I have nothing to offer. _________________

I like some Tiamat. I threw Judas Christ in the trash immediately though after I heard the cuddly bunny lyric in one of the tracks.
Pretty Maids Future World is pop metal bliss. |

Once I've had opportunity to hear this on humble analogue acoustic system worth of about 250K USD... After that I'm no way to say this Music is Shit (unlike I was telling before)... I'm still not a fan still, but that's good. Really good. |
Have you heard this version for "Fragile Dreams" ?

I like it a bit better than the Alternative 4 version.
As far as suggestions, I like newer Katatonia when I have the itch for 'pop metal'
