I know there is talent there in spades, I can hear that, but fuck, it just never would draw me back in without some forceful action to try.
A album I force myself to listen to cause something I know, like they are talented and should be liked is just not a good sign. |
+1
I really tried but I was bored to tears every time I listened. It became a chore so I gave up. |

| I never "got them" until I heard "Procession to the Infraworld" which is vital! |

Do you like the bass drum sound in that album? |

Eh? Can't say anything has ever stood out about it to me. Why? |

| To me it sounds really annoying (e.g. 1:37-140 in this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wh8VLffA5Fk , that's what I'm talking about). Otherwise it's a great album, though. |

I'd never really noticed that before for some reason... but now you mention it! I think the songs on that album are strong enough for it not to detract though, it's by far my favorite one. |

| How anyone can not immediately detect the grandeur of Deathcult for Eternity is beyond me. Put that album on again and get rocked by ULTIMATE DEATH METAL. |
