Symphonies Of Sickness is my favorite but i like everything they have done.
"Ever Increasing Circles" from "Wake up..." could be one of the worst songs ever made though. |

| I've never liked Carcass much and don't listen to them in years, but I remember the best album was Symphonies of Sickness. |

Hopefully this anorexic moron and his shitty label are buried six feet under by now.
On topic, Necroticism got my vote. The right compromise between early days noise and modern death metal with a technical twist. Swansong is a pretty good release in the post-death metal field, it's easy to see why it's put down by metal fans all the time but it remains a solid album in my book. _________________ Thread derailed

Interested in trading a dub of Apokalypsimz for a dub of Purpurearagotamiceps?
I want that Balwezo Westijiz–Urkraftens Mystik LP but wanted to get it with the Bekëth Nexëhmü |

Never been a huge fan of it, classic album for sure though. Reek is for me one of the best grind albums ever, absolutely disgusting sound in the best way. Necroticism is just full of great riffs (opening of "Incarnated", "Symposium of Sickness" etc) |

What's your problem man? Does KBTMT use GZ pressing? You belong to a KZ pressing. _________________ Geißel des Fleisches - Bis aufs Blut gequält |

This.
First two albums are by far the best. _________________

Reek of Putrefaction, simply for how it sounds and the countless innovations. The unintentional sloppiness, bass-heavy production, dynamic vocals with carefully chosen voice effects, totally anti-climactic songs, messy pseudo-solos. There are things that happened on this record that are just impossible to reproduce IMO. _________________ Malaria

Necroticism ... never really got into their earlier stuff.
As an aside, they put on a good show a couple years back when they played NYC _________________ Family first but Blasphemy a close second...

Symphonies is pretty much a perfect album if you ask me. _________________

| As much as I dig the earlier material, it's gotta be Necroticism. Heartwork is okay minus the Arch Enemy solos. |
