Different strokes for different folks. I really could care less what someone else does or does not like. I just think an album as good as Last One on Earth deserves a few more listens, that's all. |

It is odd to hate the thing that more or less helped define or create what came after.
Perhaps newer or influenced stuff could be expansive in a broader sense, but to deny what the first step on a staircase is and then praise the top step is absurd. You cannot get to the top of the staircase without stepping on the first few steps.

It's funny because I'm sure a lot of these kids who say such things get offended if you don't praise their precious bands like Blasphemophagher, Midnight or Repugnant, yet they have no problem dissing greats like Judas Priest or Slayer (both who undeniably slay the aforementioned bands).
