| Anyone knows of any distro still carrying the first black vinyl Bathory reissues? I only got The Return a couple of years ago from a local store and would like to get the others. Not interested in those coloured lps. Also, anyone knows if the sound of these first reissues is remastered? |

I need to pull this out again. Just found the original version of "Under The Sign Of The Black Mark" today and compared the sound of this to the 2003 Black Mark red vinyl reissue I have. Listen for yourself... Reissue starts at 52 secs.

| i got the st "yellow goat" reissue and the sleeve is thicker than on the probert's picture. Sounds also ok to me . |

Theres a lot of old Bathory stuff that Black Mark could be redoing but they're not. The old goat designs on shirts that they did in the 1990s, the huge Bathory posters they used have etc... a constant stream of new editions of the records is a tad too much. As great as they are and as much as I fucking love Bathory, one copy of every record is enough.

I am wondering about the numbers of the vinyls done, bmark does not really give info about how many they pressed. Apart from the gold ones which should be limited to 500.

I want to sell my Pic LPs of the first three albums and replace them with the normal versions.
Which ones should I take? The gold ones or the the normal coloured versions? Which are those with the thicker Gatefold and better remastered sound? ehehe
If no one knows it here in this forum I will mail a distro and ask them and let everyone know it. Christmas is comming

The Edge of Sanity Crimon I/II package is totally insane. Crimson II has drop outs between each song and is missing the intro. Love the album, but the record is a travesty. Couldn't someone have spot-checked it before sending in the audio?
I've written the label several times to redo a couple of their records that I just want in my personal collection but no response.

As I mentioned above, I got a reply from a label which sells the normal coloured Bathory LPs and the gold vinyl ones which are limited to 500 copies.
Statement to the golden ones: "it is bold from Black Mark to reissue them with paperthin like covers, the normal coloured ones have better quality."
