Whoa. Who's the artist?

I've got no idea, sorry.

EDIT: you mean the artist, as in the band? I thought you meant the person who painted it. It's Jess & the Ancient Ones.

Sorry about that, I'm a retard. Meant the painter, not the band!

That cover looks like it was drawn by some inbred, incestuous, knuckledragging hick from the southern US.

I think it's extremely funny. Not really because of the content, but more the overall style. I have a soft spot for grotesque comic imagery.

Yes, we always do that ourselves. The less externals, the better.

I was referring to the contextual aspects of the cover. The artwork itself does seem kind of unique. Sort of reminds me of those old Weirdo comics that were edited by R. Crumb in the 70's.

Doing everything yourself is ...failure, well more often than not anyways unless you are some sort of enigma.

One man band aspects at best are few and far between in comparison to full band units.

Scratch artists capable of pulling a one off hand made cover worthy of an underground release are a dime a dozen... actually probably a penny a dozen.

Lots of great covers here. I'll add this, which is surely better than the actual music of the album (Necrovation).

And this.

Also this.
