"i get my records at the rock n' roll store."
i drove in a van once with some new TL members. they were really session players, but it was still cool to talk to them. this was going back like 10 years ago. _________________ Sick Boy |

"Boogie Woogie Dayahnsz" has a groove that is just too funky. You really gotta have a set o' hips for that one. Fuck. |

I believe he says "Rock Hard Stall" which was a stall at the local swap meet or whatever they call 'em in Ireland. |

The fuck? I've been hearing a combination of rock n' roll store/show all these years ,depending on the version of the song. He tended to switch lyrics up live
a bit. Can anyone confirm one way or the other?

Can't say anything that hasn't been said here already. Some of the best rock'n'roll on the planet! Hope to do a cover of angel of death someday, that'd be bad ass. Thunder & lighning, renegade, and black rose = fav albums. And i'd have to concur with the lad who said there would be no nwobhm without thin lizzy, totaly agreed! _________________ "We must secure the extinction of the human race and apocalyptic future for all children" - 14 words. |

So, apparently it's "Rock On Stall" - a stall in London which was run by one Ted Carroll. Immortalized in the line "Teddy boy, he's got them all" meaning all the cool records, dig?

| I read about Carrol in the Rocker as well, but since I'd had the wrong lyric in my head years prior to reading it I never made the connection to the song. Killer tune, one of the best! |
