I actually just found the original email from Russ regarding this when I went to bid on this CD on ebay a few years back, as I actually thought it was a bootleg at first:
"Hi Ted:
Yes, the description is correct and accurate. Gothic pressed the CD three times and that would be the first. I don't even have one of those, as I have issues #2 and #3.
Damn, I am almost willing to bid on that, yet I eliminated those copies due to the spelling and grammatical mistakes the booklet featured.
If I were you, I would bid on it. It is EXTREMELY rare. Good luck man!
Russ" _________________ darksympho@gmail.com

Apparently it had a lot of typos and the band wanted it fixed and repressed so the second pressing looks slightly different. |
I always thought that the first version is the red one. With the address in CA |

Nope, Russ told me that red one with the address in CA is actually the 3rd Gothic Records Pressing with all the band's corrections / revisions. There is a second pressing that looks very similar to the one I posted except it doesn't say ABSU on the cover. - http://dark-world.ru/files/covers/284/28488.jpg _________________ darksympho@gmail.com

I have the one in the .ru link and it actually shows the logo. It's the black writing on top. Your copy is showing it too, just with the white logo printed over it. Always thought this.picture in the ru-link was first press. _________________ Tradelist + Good Traders:

is there a vinyl release of the Barathrum including the 3 live bonus tracks of the cd-osmose-reissue? the live tracks included on the 2LP (mythological...) are different if i'm not wrong... well maybe one is not i cannot remember now. |
ok this thread has given me the chance to pay attention to the boxset, that was still here sleeping in the "recently added stuff" area. I answer to my question:
yes, the 3 live songs are on the boxset, on side 3.
this evening will be spent into the apzu/abzu _________________
