Wormlust is great. I'm a hard sell on the atmospheric BM, but I really enjoy this MCD. I haven't had a chance to listen to the cassettes I got, but this weekend for sure! Another great haul from MSI. Very Happy

always happy to get an order from you, ma'am Very Happy. i'm glad that you enjoyed the wormlust album too. my hope with releasing it was that people would catch on and see that they're very much worth attention. i've heard new material of his and i can honestly say it's the greatest thing coming from iceland right now, neck in neck with svartidaudi and chao at least.

I know it's been a minute, but you've still done more than a lot of labels would be able to in their first year.

I’ve got a few REAL choice black and death metal tapes in stock NOW…

Imprecation - Jehova Denied Demo CS

The classick Texas Death Metal band, Imprecation returns to form on this 4 song demo tape. Anyone who has seen the band live recently or heard their Sigil of Lucifer EP released in 2011 KNOWS that the band is back and more evil and sick and possessed than they’ve ever been. Originally self-released by the band on cd-r earlier in 2012, now it has seen the cassette release that it’s worthy of.

Released by Unholy Domain Records from Italy:
https://www.facebook.com/UnholyDomainRecs

Soundcloud Samples:
http://soundcloud.com/dannyhiller/sets/imprecation-jehovah-denied/

Band’s Facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Imprecation/194725213915960

Hatespawn - Blasphemous Redeemer Demo CS

Latest demo tape from Germany’s Hatespawn. They returned recently from a hiatus with a split with another great contemporary German Death Metal band, Charon and now release another onslaught of pure Death Metal mastery.

For the uninitiated, the band was formed in 2004 by ex-Impending Doom members A.O.D. and Deathmonger and continues their tradition of old school, no frills Satanic Death Metal. Their way is indeed the right way, and you can clearly see their mastery over the classick elements in this 20 minute DEMONstration tape.

Every tape comes with an album cover-motif sticker.

Released by Deathcult Productions:
http://www.facebook.com/deathcultproductions

For a preview video:

The band’s official website:

Oath of Cruelty - Altar of Impalement Demo CS

Oath of Cruelty represents a new standard for contemporary Metal bands in Texas. Featuring members of Blaspherian, P.L.F. and Dark Reign, they play relentless, absolutely RIPPING Death/Thrash Metal. Everything about this release is flawlessly executed, from the artwork to the production and songwriting…this has it all.

Released by Warfare Noise Productions from Houston, TX: warfarenoiseprods@gmail.com

To preview a track:

Band’s Facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/OathOfCruelty

Verräter - 2012 Demo CS

Here we have the first demo of an interesting new Black Metal band from the mid-west, Verräter. A very aggressive and discordant recording interspersed with atmospheric interludes is what we have here, there’s something very special going on and you’d do well to pay attention to Verräter.

Band’s reverb nation page:

Wormlust's forthcoming debut album, The Feral Wisdom, is now streaming in it's entirety. Have a listen because the new material is LEAPS AND BOUNDS above the demo material that was contained on The Wormlust Collective and is above and beyond anything going on in Iceland at the moment.

This is being released by Demonhood Productions from Norway soon.

It's been a bit quite on the label front since last year. No matter. Still here and still svpporting.

Let me start by saying that the very well received Esclavo EP, Enslaved is available again to order after having sold thru the initial pressing from last year.

(my description from last year)
Another release 2 years in the making. Esclavo's debut release shows a penchant for writing atmospherically oppressive, misanthropy infatuated, and doom laden music. 5 track spanning 25 minutes of crawling, writhing and suffering caught on tape, it really doesn't get much bleaker than this, man. For fans of Noothgrush, Dystopia, Corrupted, Eyehategod.

Preview two tracks from the EP here: http://www.esclavotx.bandcamp.com

VPR006 : Amarok / Hell Split CS

Released by Vulture Print spring 2013
http://www.vultureprint.blogspot.com

The two bands on this split represent different threads within the extreme doom genre.

Amarok, from California, completes their side with one long and epic song. They have a sound that is more aligned with the sorrowful, melodic side of the doom spectrum. This would appeal to fans of such bands as Mournful Congregation, Pallbearer and (maybe) Lurker of Chalice.

Hell from Oregon, completes their side of the tape with 3 shorter (than they're used to anyway) songs. Coming off the heals of their third album as well as a split with Thou last year, this material continues in a similar vein. Spiteful, oppressive, and even melancholic at times. This is a band that people would do well to pay attention to as they're currently in the top tier of US extreme doom bands (in my opinion anyway).

TAR004 : Undersmile - Narwhal CS

Released by Tartarus Records December, 2012
http://www.tartarusrecords.com

Undersmile, is a band from the UK that has forged a very unique sound amongst the contemporary doom metal scene.

Narwhal is their monstrous debut album, clocking in at about 80 minutes in length. At times, their music brings to mind the dreariness of Burning Witch and other times recalling classick melodies that My Dying Bride could have written in the early 90's. There is also a very subtle echo of mid 90's Neurosis style sludge. All in all, there's a wealth of influence to draw from, while at the same time having a sound that is wholly their own. This album comes HIGHLY recommended from me.

All copies come with a screen printed patch.

To hear the entire thing as well as other Undersmile recordings:

FCR 06 : Church of Disgust - Invocation of Putrid Worship

Released by Filthy Cave Records in January, 2013:
http://www.filthycaverecords.com

Church of Disgust RETURNS! with their second demo tape, filthier and sicker than before. Invocation of Putrid Worship charts a more clear path of C.O.D's vision of Death Metal than their previous demo (which was also distributed by M/SI). Production values and song writing technique have both been honed more finely this time around and is a lead-in to their debut album this year which will be released by Memento Mori in Spain.

Every tape comes with a Church of Disgust sticker.

To hear the whole tape as well as the previous C.o.D. Demo:
http://churchofdisgust.bandcamp.com/

The band's Facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/churchofdisgust

All these and more are available at:

http://www.mvrdersvicide.storenvy.com

Note that I am still waiting for several more very interesting distro tapes and I will post again when I get them.

Couple of choice additions here, dudes...

Arnaut Pavle - Demo 2012 CS

Released by Vlad Tapes (FIN):
http://vladtapes.storenvy.com/

Obscure and necrotic debut demo from Black Metal band, Arnaut Pavle, who have seemingly come from nowhere. 7 tracks in 18 minutes of punishment. I haven't heard something this vicious in a while. Their style is comparable to such contemporary acts as Craft or Orcustus. Highly fuckin' recommended.

To preview 3 tracks:
https://soundcloud.com/vlad-tapes/sets/apx

Dispirit - 111112 CS

Self released by the band

Dispirit returns! Finally some new output after almost 3 years since their previous demo tape. This time they've become even more ethereal, even more murky and dismal than before. The droning riffs envelope you and paralyze your senses all through this epic 47 minute rehearsal demo.

samples of their music can be found at:
http://www.dispirit.org

These titles as well as more available at:

I've got a few more releases coming in the mail, so there will likely be another distro update before the end of the month.

Been a while, WHATEVER. Lots of goodies in stock that I've obviously been holding back.

Wormlust - The Feral Wisdom LP

Presented by Demonhood Productions
http://demonhoodprod.com

Wormlust's debut full length, The Feral Wisdom, is finally manifested. This album further removes WRMLST from the circular current of what is safe and known in Black Metal, and deeper into the vortex of hellish vision and feverish composition WRMLST has become known for. All trademark elements from previous recordings are ever present, though not yet dull. This knife still draws blood.

To listen:
http://wrmlst.bandcamp.com/album/the-feral-wisdom

Dead in the Dirt - The Blind Hole LP & CD

Presented by Southern Lord Records:
http://southernlord.com

The DITD sound takes cues from His Hero Is Gone, Drop Dead, (old) Napalm Death etc.. to horrifically relentless levels of blasting intensity. It is not very often that a new band can simultaneously and effectively spew forth such filthy chaos in a controlled manner. It is also rare that recordings from bands in this scene/genre display such clear and concise production values. This is literally one of the heaviest and most brutal recordings that has come out in recent times!

To listen:
http://deadinthedirt.bandcamp.com/album/the-blind-hole

War Master - Blood Dawn CD EP

Presented by Torture Garden Picture Company
http://torture-garden.com

The Houston, TX death metal masters return, after a two year absence, with four new tracks of armor piercing ammunition to expose your innards. With new personnel in tow, this is their most fierce offering yet.

To listen:
http://warmaster.bandcamp.com/album/blood-dawn-3

The Way To Light - The Sun's Ascent CD EP

The Way to Light returns again with another trip through a meditative consciousness that is The Sun's Ascent. This time with a more varied approach and instrumentation, the desolate atmosphere is even more present. Feel the scorch as the Sun Ascends...

To listen:
http://thewaytolight.bandcamp.com/album/the-suns-ascent

13th Moon - Pale Spectre over the Worm CS

Presented by Exitium Productions (UK):
http://exitiumprods.blogspot.com

Under the spectral illumination of the 13th MOON, a formless darkness of ancient evil has formed a nocturnal pact with EXITIUM Productions commencing with the release of their debut demo "The Pale Spectre over the Worm." This Catalonian Black/Death metal entity commands a necromantic ritual summoned by the De Vermis Mysteriis itself. Conjuring the crushing, ancient darkness of bands such as Demoncy and fellow countrymen Teitanblood and Hic Iacet, 13th MOON will cast a lunar eclipse of evil for greater horrors to follow.

To listen:
http://exitiumprods.bandcamp.com/album/the-pale-spectre-over-the-worm

Abyssal - Novit Enim Dominus Qui Sunt Eius CS

Presented by Exitium Productions (UK):
http://exitiumprods.blogspot.com/

Abyssal is a very apt name for this band as their music recalls just that, the abyss. The aura of absolute dread is inescapable on this album, it swallows the listener whole. Comparisons have been made to bands such as Blut Aus Nord, Portal, Arkhon Infaustus, and they're not completely without merit. Few bands have managed to create something this suffocating.

All tapes come in a printed O-card sleeve.
To listen (and die):
http://abyssal-home.bandcamp.com/album/novit-enim-dominus-qui-sunt-eius

Axis of Perdition - Corridors CS

Presented by Exitium Productions (UK)
http://exitiumprods.blogspot.com

The first official demo re-issue of surreal Black/Industrial metal entity, Axis of Perdition. Weaving the ruins of a decayed world of blood and rust into a dark, Lovecraftian nightmare. Originally released as a CD-R one decade ago, 'Corridors' includes bonus live material from 2010, presented in a limited release of rust-detailed cassettes with new artwork with 'hospital letter' notes, sealed in a blood-soiled gauze.

Swarþ - Mors Rex Salvator Hominum CS

Presented by Exitium Productions (UK):
http://exitiumprods.blogspot.com

Having reaped the harvest of the grave in their sold-out demos of intricately crafted Religious Black/Death Metal, the faceless congregation of Swarþ have conjured the spirit of DEATH and rotting pestilence in this EP of their most pernicious and obscure material yet. Swarþ are the essence of man's prostration and obedience to the divine contagion and DEATH. Presented in 100 cassettes with Medieval illuminated artwork on parchment paper.

To listen:
http://exitiumprods.bandcamp.com/album/mors-rex-salvator-hominum

Fossor House - 2013 Demo CS

Fossor House is a new band from the Bay Area of California. Admittedly their sound isn't one that I'm known for pushing, but I'd like you to trust me on this one. There's just something about it.

To listen:
http://fossorhouse.bandcamp.com/
For info on the band:
http://fossorhouse.tumblr.com/

Rapturous Grief - S/T CS

Grief ridden and panic stricken hardcore from the south. Tape version of their now sold out 7". If you get the chance to see them live, don't waste the opportunity.

To listen:
http://rapturousgrief.bandcamp.com/

Severe - S/T CS

Released by Wolves and Vibrancy Records from Germany:
http://wolvesandvibrancyrecords.com

Belgium's best kept secret. Caustic and fucking harrowing black metal that would appeal to fans of CRAFT. Recommended if you also bought the Arnaut Pavle tape that I also helped distribute.

To listen:
http://wolvesandvibrancyrecords.bandcamp.com/album/severe

Antikythera - Pleroma CS

Pleroma is a pathway to deeper sorrows you can't describe. Absolute, outer space, dark matter gazing sorrow. All you can do is howl into the abyss and hear it reverberate into nothing.

To listen:
http://antikytheradoom.bandcamp.com/

Hellige - S/T CS

Released by Ydnirgal Productions from Argentina:
http://ydnirgal.com.ar/main.htm

"Hellige is a one-man Sludge/Doom/Black Metal project from Argentina, formed in 2010. At its beginning, it started as raw black metal recordings but as time passed by, it turned into what it is now. This EP consists on 4 "semi-instrumental" tracks (by semi instrumental I mean that the voice is used as an instruments and actually, there are no lyrics)"
All tapes come in hand stamped, golden envelopes.

To hear and download:
http://helligearg.bandcamp.com/album/hellige

Møllehøj - Demo 2012

Released by a great friend and ally, at Red River Family in Austin, TX
http://redriverfamily.bigcartel.com/

Møllehøj is an atmospheric black metal band from the northwest united states. This recording ebbs and flows unrelentingly thru over 40 minutes of truly potent and promising black metal.

To listen and download: http://mollehoj.bandcamp.com/album/m-lleh-j
