Received my Wormlust CDs. A brilliant collection of material and the layout looks excellent! Some copies are now available from the Exitium site (see signature).

Wormlust is great. I'm a hard sell on the atmospheric BM, but I really enjoy this MCD. I haven't had a chance to listen to the cassettes I got, but this weekend for sure! Another great haul from MSI. Very Happy

always happy to get an order from you, ma'am Very Happy. i'm glad that you enjoyed the wormlust album too. my hope with releasing it was that people would catch on and see that they're very much worth attention. i've heard new material of his and i can honestly say it's the greatest thing coming from iceland right now, neck in neck with svartidaudi and chao at least.

I know it's been a minute, but you've still done more than a lot of labels would be able to in their first year.

I’ve got a few REAL choice black and death metal tapes in stock NOW…

Imprecation - Jehova Denied Demo CS

The classick Texas Death Metal band, Imprecation returns to form on this 4 song demo tape. Anyone who has seen the band live recently or heard their Sigil of Lucifer EP released in 2011 KNOWS that the band is back and more evil and sick and possessed than they’ve ever been. Originally self-released by the band on cd-r earlier in 2012, now it has seen the cassette release that it’s worthy of.

Released by Unholy Domain Records from Italy:
https://www.facebook.com/UnholyDomainRecs

Soundcloud Samples:
http://soundcloud.com/dannyhiller/sets/imprecation-jehovah-denied/

Band’s Facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Imprecation/194725213915960

Hatespawn - Blasphemous Redeemer Demo CS

Latest demo tape from Germany’s Hatespawn. They returned recently from a hiatus with a split with another great contemporary German Death Metal band, Charon and now release another onslaught of pure Death Metal mastery.

For the uninitiated, the band was formed in 2004 by ex-Impending Doom members A.O.D. and Deathmonger and continues their tradition of old school, no frills Satanic Death Metal. Their way is indeed the right way, and you can clearly see their mastery over the classick elements in this 20 minute DEMONstration tape.

Every tape comes with an album cover-motif sticker.

Released by Deathcult Productions:

Oath of Cruelty - Altar of Impalement Demo CS

Oath of Cruelty represents a new standard for contemporary Metal bands in Texas. Featuring members of Blaspherian, P.L.F. and Dark Reign, they play relentless, absolutely RIPPING Death/Thrash Metal. Everything about this release is flawlessly executed, from the artwork to the production and songwriting…this has it all.

Released by Warfare Noise Productions from Houston, TX: warfarenoiseprods@gmail.com

Verräter - 2012 Demo CS

Here we have the first demo of an interesting new Black Metal band from the mid-west, Verräter. A very aggressive and discordant recording interspersed with atmospheric interludes is what we have here, there’s something very special going on and you’d do well to pay attention to Verräter.

All of these and much more available in the mvrder/svicide storefront…

Wormlust's forthcoming debut album, The Feral Wisdom, is now streaming in it's entirety. Have a listen because the new material is LEAPS AND BOUNDS above the demo material that was contained on The Wormlust Collective and is above and beyond anything going on in Iceland at the moment.

This is being released by Demonhood Productions from Norway soon.

It's been a bit quite on the label front since last year. No matter. Still here and still svpporting.

Let me start by saying that the very well received Esclavo EP, Enslaved is available again to order after having sold thru the initial pressing from last year.

(my description from last year)
Another release 2 years in the making. Esclavo's debut release shows a penchant for writing atmospherically oppressive, misanthropy infatuated, and doom laden music. 5 track spanning 25 minutes of crawling, writhing and suffering caught on tape, it really doesn't get much bleaker than this, man. For fans of Noothgrush, Dystopia, Corrupted, Eyehategod.

Preview two tracks from the EP here: http://www.esclavotx.bandcamp.com

VPR006 : Amarok / Hell Split CS

Released by Vulture Print spring 2013
http://www.vultureprint.blogspot.com

The two bands on this split represent different threads within the extreme doom genre.

Amarok, from California, completes their side with one long and epic song. They have a sound that is more aligned with the sorrowful, melodic side of the doom spectrum. This would appeal to fans of such bands as Mournful Congregation, Pallbearer and (maybe) Lurker of Chalice.

Hell from Oregon, completes their side of the tape with 3 shorter (than they're used to anyway) songs. Coming off the heals of their third album as well as a split with Thou last year, this material continues in a similar vein. Spiteful, oppressive, and even melancholic at times. This is a band that people would do well to pay attention to as they're currently in the top tier of US extreme doom bands (in my opinion anyway).

TAR004 : Undersmile - Narwhal CS

Released by Tartarus Records December, 2012
http://www.tartarusrecords.com

Undersmile, is a band from the UK that has forged a very unique sound amongst the contemporary doom metal scene.

Narwhal is their monstrous debut album, clocking in at about 80 minutes in length. At times, their music brings to mind the dreariness of Burning Witch and other times recalling classick melodies that My Dying Bride could have written in the early 90's. There is also a very subtle echo of mid 90's Neurosis style sludge. All in all, there's a wealth of influence to draw from, while at the same time having a sound that is wholly their own. This album comes HIGHLY recommended from me.

All copies come with a screen printed patch.

FCR 06 : Church of Disgust - Invocation of Putrid Worship

Released by Filthy Cave Records in January, 2013:
http://www.filthycaverecords.com

Church of Disgust RETURNS! with their second demo tape, filthier and sicker than before. Invocation of Putrid Worship charts a more clear path of C.O.D's vision of Death Metal than their previous demo (which was also distributed by M/SI). Production values and song writing technique have both been honed more finely this time around and is a lead-in to their debut album this year which will be released by Memento Mori in Spain.

Every tape comes with a Church of Disgust sticker.

To hear the whole tape as well as the previous C.o.D. Demo:
http://churchofdisgust.bandcamp.com/

The band's Facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/churchofdisgust

All these and more are available at:

http://www.mvrdersvicide.storenvy.com

Note that I am still waiting for several more very interesting distro tapes and I will post again when I get them.

Couple of choice additions here, dudes...

Arnaut Pavle - Demo 2012 CS

Released by Vlad Tapes (FIN):
http://vladtapes.storenvy.com/

Obscure and necrotic debut demo from Black Metal band, Arnaut Pavle, who have seemingly come from nowhere. 7 tracks in 18 minutes of punishment. I haven't heard something this vicious in a while. Their style is comparable to such contemporary acts as Craft or Orcustus. Highly fuckin' recommended.

To preview 3 tracks:
https://soundcloud.com/vlad-tapes/sets/apx

Dispirit - 111112 CS

Self released by the band

Dispirit returns! Finally some new output after almost 3 years since their previous demo tape. This time they've become even more ethereal, even more murky and dismal than before. The droning riffs envelope you and paralyze your senses all through this epic 47 minute rehearsal demo.

samples of their music can be found at:
http://www.dispirit.org

These titles as well as more available at:

I've got a few more releases coming in the mail, so there will likely be another distro update before the end of the month.
