This reflects everything I've ever heard about the beer.
We are drinking Ballast Point Victory at Sea. |

not a fan of most Sierra Nevada brews. on the othe hand, Firestone double jack.... Good shit!! Only bummer is we don't get it out here, so this (along with pliny) end up being my big go to special treats if visiting the west coast. Double jack is definitely backed! _________________ trade-want list/available list- http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20339 |

started with Red Hook ESB (terrible), then some homebrew (needs another week in the bottle to fully carbonate, but quite happy with the beer itself), then Leffe Brune and now Great Divide Hibernation, an old ale. It's very nice. |

Just bought some Larceny bourbon and having a glass. Never heard of it before. A random buy that is turning out well so far. |

just cracked one, it's fantastic. Ridiculously drinkable and anyone into imperial stouts will fall for it.
our boss took us out to lunch today at some place in Saratoga called Harry's Hofbrau. It's a cafeteria-style place that caters mostly to retired dudes, but I was shocked to see that they had a great selection of bottled craft. It was payday so I managed to leave with two, the Berserker of which I'm really excited to get into.
edit:
I'm not sure if this has been discussed before but I think it would be cool if some of us here got into trading beers. Obviously there are established beer trading communities out there but why not here when we're already trading shit anyway? I'd really like a bottle of Founders Breakfast Stout or something from Portsmouth Brewery. _________________ KZR |

I actually did this once before with Grimalkin from this board and it went absolutely smooth. we were even going to do a second trade (oddly enough so I could get some double jack) but he kinda dropped off the face of the planet. ironically the package I sent him contained a bottle of breakfast stout as well. hahahaha! funny you mention it too, as its in season and available to us RIGHT NOW. PM if if you want to work something out sometime. I'm an all out IPA guy and not much of a stout man, but I definitely back the breakfast stout for what its worth. the Double Trouble Imperial IPA and Devil Dancer Triple IPA are great releases from Founders as well. good brewery!
USPS large flat rate boxes work great for this practice, you just cant be honest about the contents obviously. you can easily fit 2 bombers and 2 regular bottles into it though. flat rate works best as 4 bottles is pretty damn heavy/expensive to mail otherwise.
*EDIT* also had 4 pints of the Flying Dog- Single Hop Imperial IPA w/Citra at the bar last night. cant find any photos to post, but the stuff was absolutely good and dangerously easy to put down. a surprisingly mighty fine release from Flying Dog for a change. I don't think its bottled as its one of their "limited releases" but I strongly recommend trying it if you see it on draft at your local watering hole _________________ trade-want list/available list- http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20339 |
