from their assbook:
It has been five years since the latest recording of Tribulation. We ended the last album cycle at the end of summer one year ago & have since been working solely on a new album. We want to say thank you & goodbye to our drummer Jakob Johansson who has parted ways with us during this process. A new drummer is soon to be introduced through this new album.
Once again we will follow the stream down to Hvergelmer for the recording that is to take place in October & November in the fall of 2012. To our aid is also Necromorbus for this album as well.
It took us a long time to find the right labels to work with since we have a devious way of approaching that side of the business but we eventually found the right ones. We are proud to be working with Invictus Productions and The Ajna Offensive for the coming release.
Sincerely - The Ghosts From the North MMXII
can't fuckin wait!!!! too bad the drummer left, i liked his style. |

sweet, I love this band. Last album was totally pummeling, and a much better heir to the tradition of Dissection than Watain if you ask me. _________________ Wants/Trades: http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=275935#275935

I found the full-length disappointing in comparison to their earlier material, which is a rare exception for me. I'm not one to cult. |

The Horror was a great LP. Reminded me of Merciless personally. _________________ http://www.20buckspin.com |

+1!
Easily one of the best "new" Swedeath band, together with REPUGNANT and KAAMOS. _________________ https://www.facebook.com/ysengrin.official |

Yup. Demo and EP sound even more reminiscent.

Hmm, i feel it's more in the vein Repugnant and Merciless. Can't really hear any Dissection there, well maybe a bit in the vocals... But anyway good band. The Horror was a damn good start. |

I actually say Dissection because I friend of mine did a euro tour with them and apparently they were all totally obsessed with Dissection above all else (as I have heard Erik from Watain is). _________________ Wants/Trades: http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=275935#275935

I think there are in fact quite some "Dissectionish" riffing going on "The Horror", mixed with more classic (Merciless are a good reference) styled stuff.
Other than that, killer news. Darragh deserves another beer! Way to go mate. |

This.
That split second keyboard/violin break in the opening track is a good contender for the "keyboards in death metal" thread, too. That tiny little sample kicks the whole song up a notch. _________________
