Thanks! Sounds quite good to me. Nothing overwhelming, but interesting. Still can't wait for the whole album to come out. |

Indeed. Not bad, but...yeah boring. I dont know what happened to this band, By The Blessing of Satan is one of the best black metal album ever recorded, everything after that just sounds too "tame". |

Sounds more DEATHSPELL OMEGA influences than their last one...
I was hoping it would be closer to their first two full lengths...
I will wait and give the whole thing a spin before I come to any solid conclusions, but I really wasn't too impressed.
Ps. - Thanks for the posting of this MP3! |

No problem. As I said before, I presume DM is okay with the sharing of this track given it being on a promotional sample CD. The CD also had a Deiphago sampler track, a Winterfylleth one, a fantastic Essenz track and a new track from A Forest of Stars' new LP. Plus some other bumph.
The track has had 57 downloads since I uploaded it this afternoon. Blimey... |

Is it just me, or does the mastering on the song kinda make it a bit fuzzy?
Like digital clipping? Perhaps my ears deceive me, but it sounds very harsh (mostly the guitars), as opposed to a lot of other records.
Maybe it was just the MP3? I can't tell, but my ears really aren't enjoying that aspect of the song...
Anyone know where this was recorded/mixed/mastered? |

Few dissonant chords and these days it's automatically DsO-influenced. |

"My Soul For His Glory" also has this influence...and that album also has a HUGE departure from the sound they had for first two albums. Maybe they had more member changes?
This song shows that influence even more, but like I said, I must wait for the whole album to listen to before I can make a fair judgment call. |

The band is more serious than ever, so their more or less generic logo shouldve been dropped. That being said, does it really matter?[/quote]
So, they were not "serious" before?
I hate that lame"statements" when some band says "We are mature now, we don't like Blackmetalish logos anymore" That's just stupid.... |

I liked the track, thought it had a real DMDS vibe. Torog sounds a lot like Arioch now, and it's good to see them trying to make themselves distinct from Sargeist, which is basically composed of the same members. However, I do think that this might be somewhat of a transitional album because of that aspect. _________________ "man i love slayer so much i grew my face "

If I'm not mistaken, the drummer writes most of their music. |

You shouldn't "presume", you should contact the label or the band before uploading songs on the Internet. Maybe there was a reason why we didn't ?
Please remove this MP3 and next time, please ask before posting stuff without our approval. It ended on YouTube with a fucking shit sound and horrible cover preview.
Song with proper sound quality is now online here : http://snd.sc/Nu6Lkn |
