Just what every person with a shelf for their CDs secretly desires, symmetry in packaging for a band's discography. Anyone who feels otherwise is lying to themselves deep down. _________________ + EXITIVM PRODVCTIONS +

Received a good amount of new demos over the weekend, very VERY choice material here.
Hellige - God, 2010 Demo CS
Hellige is a Black Metal band from Argentina, not a country traditionally known for metal, yet this band has done something startlingly right. These recordings are very eerily sparse and atmospheric and has a sound I'd compare most closely to Blut Aus Nord. Includes a very interesting cover of a song from the 28 Days Later soundtrack. Very highly recommended demo tape.
To preview the entire recording, as well as another, more recent, recording:

Innumerable Forms - Frozen to Death Promo 2012 CS
Innumerable Forms is a band masterminded by prominent Boston, MA musician Justin Detore (aka DFJ). Here we have RAW and fucking authentic Death Metal. Anyone who picked up the Dark Worship 7" in 2010 will be pleased with the two new tracks presented here. If you're new to the band, the B-side includes remixed versions of the tracks from the Dark Worship 7". As far as I know, this was just released for their show at Chaos in Tejas last week, limited to 150 copies and completely sold out according to Justin.
To hear a track from Dark Worship, so you can hear what the band is all about:

Headache - Demo 2012 CS
First recorded output from a band called Headache, out of San Antonio, TX. Here we have powerviolence played in the tradition of the old guard of Crossed out & No Comment. They have a sound that could be comparable to such contemporary Texas hardcore bands as Hatred Surge or Mindless. Very intense and very authentically pissed off music.
To preview two tracks from the demo:

Skin Colour - What Colour is Your Skin? Demo CS
First release from my good friends over at Garbage World Records from Calgary, Alberta, CANADA! This recording is short, fast and fucking loud. A great example of raw and stripped down hardcore punk done the right way, absolutely no nonsense or pretensions to be found here.
All these titles AND MORE can be found in my e-store. Orders are always packed carefully and mailed promptly.

We listened to a few of those tapes during a road trip this weekend. Top notch, all around. The spouse was especially fond of Church of Disgust with that gnarly bass sound.
Anyway, another excellent haul from MvrderSvicideIncidents! The tunes will certainly make our upcoming move much more tolerable. |

Awesome! Glad both of you liked em. In related news, Church of Disgust has an album deal with the Spanish label Memento Mori now! _________________

After a bit of a break thru the summer, I’ve got few choice cuts in stock for distribution.
http://www.mvrdersvicide.storeenvy.com
Absurdist - Illusory CD
A new band from San Antonio, TX, featuring members of The Faceless and Abhorrent.
Though the project is related to The Faceless and Abhorrent, this recording is nothing like either of those bands. Absurdist has managed to blend an array of influences as disparate as black metal and grindcore to bring a breathe of fresh air to the modern hardcore plane. The level of musicianship and songwriting is top-notch, as is the production which brings the material to a plateau unheard of for a band’s first release.

Listen to the album here:

The Way to Light - That Place Now Forgotten CS
New solo project from Austin Rathmell, ex-Botfly. Don’t expect anything hardcore related here.
This is the first The Way to Light release. He has managed to record some of the most hauntingly beautiful tunes I’ve heard in a while. Truly a journey of introspection. This is a very well put together release and it amounts to about half an hour of acoustic guitar experimentation. Music to lay down and die to.

Dead in the Dirt - Void MCD
First 2010 release from Atlanta, GA’s Dead in the Dirt. Five tracks of pummeling metallic hardcore, grinding through seven minutes in what feels like two. They blend a variety of influences ranging from black metal to grindcore to create something fresh and original. This band definitely knows how to keep it interesting.

Listen to the whole recording here:

Dead in the Dirt - Fear 7”
Second release by Dead in the Dirt and their debut for the famous Southern Lord Records.
Continuing in the direction established by their previous MCD, although in a much uglier and dirty fashion. Very high quality package and presentation.
Listen to the whole recording here:

I’m also expecting another release from Hellige (ARG) to come into stock soon. It’s a CD release of their 2012 Demo recordings, you can hear them now at the band’s site. Another announcement will be made when they arrive.
http://helligearg.bandcamp.com/
In other, label related news…
-M/SI-04 : Wormlust - The Wormlust Collective is nearing completion, after a delay throughout the summer from various factors. The pressing plant is working on the CD as I speak and should be ready within the next two weeks. I’ve got a first look at the t-shirts from my print guy this week, they came out fantastic and they should be in HQ soon. Patches and pins also should arrive shortly.
-Announcements of M/SI-05 & M/SI-06 will be made very soon… _________________

Back again with more choice additions to the store as well as some label related news.
Hellige - Demo 2012 CD
The newest demo from Argentina's HELLIGE. This band has received praise and support from M/SI for some time now, as I've stocked one of their previous demo tapes and am happy to distribute their latest release.
Hellige continues in the direction established in their earlier recordings. Very cavernous and atmospheric riffing, still very reminiscent of Blut Aus Nord, yet with their own mark on this style of Black Metal. This demo comes to about 40 minutes of music and really showcases the band's ability to write epic and eerie soundscapes.
To preview the entire recording, as well as all of their other recordings.

Crawl - Mine Mail Not Shone the Light of Death CS
First official release from San Antonio, TX's only one man band, CRAWL. This consists of only drums, bass and vocals. Crawl has to be seen to be believed. The low end attack and percussive violence is something I've only been able to compare to early SWANS recordings. Primal and stripped down, there really isn't anything like Crawl in Texas, or anywhere for that matter.
Listening to this recording is like having your eyes sewn shut and trying to feel your way around a labyrinth, only instead of getting closer to the exit, you just get more lost and dizzy. This is music for a dark stroll through a dungeon.
Every tape comes with a screen printed logo patch.

Mosquito Control - Promo 2012 CS
First release from Auckland, New Zealand's Mosquito Control. This promo tape comes to about 15 minutes of plodding and torturous DOOM. It almost sounds as if the whole band is on fire during the recording, they're completely relentless throughout. Audio pain in its purest form.
To hear the recording:

I also have a number of other distributed titles coming into stock soon, some known and a few unknown bands that definitely warrant your attention.
In label related news...
-M/SI-04 Wormlust - The Wormlust Collective was returned to me this week, finally, but there was an error in printing the CD jackets, so I am waiting for the correct jackets to be sent to me before putting them on sale, should be some time this week. I have the logo t-shirts and woven patches in hand now.
-I'm proud to announce that M/SI-05 will be a full length CD release for CRAWL titled, "The Slow Torture of Caged Starvation". More details will surface as they are available.
