/DWP021/ ISRATHOUM - "Black Poison and Shared Wounds"
Created beyond the threshold of consciousness and inspired by ancient teachings of the Infernal metaphysical Qlippothic regions, ISRATHOUM is the compendium of misanthropic conspiracy, cold forged in disused mineshafts as sharp-edged bottomless Black Metal.... The invisible spear.... An obscure and limitless supernatural barrier.... A weapon to His Will.
The trio of Arvath, VxInfr and W.uR delivers a devastating blow with this crushing recording! Three years after "Monument of Brimstone", ISRATHOUM is back, venomous and corrupt. An attack against all, that is holy. A rebellious hymn of the possessed. Violently revolting mass of poisonous black hatred.... Black Metal refined to perfection.
"Black Poison & Shared Wounds" is out now through Daemon Worship Productions!

Listened to the CD yesterday and thought it was a very intense and rich album. Haunting and dark atmosphere and very well performed, thick sound and sick vocals. I think I didn't hear the band since 8 years or so and they improved a LOT. Sometimes it reminded me of the later Deathspell Omega, considering the song structures and atmosphere mostly.
Recommended album if you want to distance yourself from 'easy-listening' Black Metal. Curious to hear them live now.
This'll do well on vinyl too, when will come the.. etc _________________ www.new-era-productions.nl
