Blood's "Tumor" and Inquisition's "Invoking the Majestic Throne of Satan" have almost the same opening riff. _________________

Well, there are only 12 tones in this universe and not all sound good after each other, what can you do? |

Don't worry mate, the riff stealing doesn't bother me at all, in fact I love it when its done like a Tribute to the Gods (Sadomator is the best example I think). |

The Nargaroth / Immortal one was certainly intentional, since it's about Grimm (even though he didn't play the drums on Pure Holocaust ) _________________

Autopsy - Torn from the Womb
the beginning riff I am almost sure it was used on one of the Darkhtrone tracks most propably on ABITNS but I feel too lazy to check it out. Not surprising since it's stated many times by DT themselves that they were influenced by Autopsy.
Kreator-Cry War
Sodom-Proselytism Real
Evol-Sorrow of the Witch
The solo in Christicide- Malum Qui Nescit Occassum around 6,49 sounds much influenced by the epic solo in Enslaved - 793. |

Probably mentioned on here already, but the chorus riff from Kreator's "Terrible Certainty" song seems to be directly lifted from Slayer's "Kill Again"..... _________________

I forget if it was in the thread but Exodus Strike of The Beast and Kreator Total death are really similiar. Which was first and how did this happen? |

I'm not much of a Nargaroth fan and I used to be pissed off about how much he ripped off Strid and almost everything else until I realised that Black Metal Ist Krieg isn't subtitled "(A Dedication Monument)" for nothing; it's a tribute to the other bands. The same may apply to Satanic Warmaster and Deathcrush. Songs like that are intentionally similar. _________________

I'm not agree with this one but Total Death's beginning is a rip off of Destruction's Mad Butcher if I recall correctly. |

That whole sw album consists of "tribute" riffs, aka stolen and collected riffs... |

I mean the chorus rather.... Daa, daa daa, daa daa.... Total death... Dunnno, always seemed suspisciously similiar. |

Not a riff similarity, but NECRONOMICON's Bloody Revenge uses the same lyrics as DESTRUCTION's Mad Butcher: "through the blackstreets of the town, his steps are clanging..." |

The Charger song "Desperados" has a lick that starts at about the 8 second mark (and appears later in the song too) that really reminds me of "Layla".
This is a KILLER fucking song. If you haven't heard it, do yourself a favor and click the link
