I have a question regarding the Bestial Devastation MLP. One thing in advance: I am NOT talking about the Split-versions with Overdose, or the Bestial Devastation/Morbid Vision Split LP.

What is the first version that got pressed with this MLP separately ?

I have one from Cogumelo with "Troops Of Doom" as bonus track. The only hint for the releasedate is on the backside of the cover: "Troops Of Doom was recorded August, 1990 on 16 Tracks...mixed by Scott Burns...". Number on the LP is COG004 and 44-C001.

Was there any other version of this MLP prior to this ?

Peter,

As far as I know, the version with the 1990 bonus track is the first and only separate release (I think there's a picture disc, but I don't know what's on it). I've never seen a version with just the intro and 4 songs. I'd suggest e-mailing Cogumelo, but they'd probably be unable to answer your question.

Brian

I have the same version as you Peter. The cover has "Special bonus track 'Troops of Doom' new remixed version" on the top left hand corner running diagonally on a yellow label. As far as I know this is the original version.

That should be the only single pressing of the Sepultura side as Mlp. Pretty hard to come by even at the time of release.

So the seperate release came out before the Split with Overdose ?
I personally own the Split LP.

Someone please sell/trade me a copy of "Bestial Devastation". Don't care which version as long as it's on vinyl...
