Oh, I do really like Morbid Angel, I just don't feel the need to own an album about 5 times!

"Altars..." I have on CD, LP and 2-3 tapes... Also own 'Blessed" on CD and tapes, and think tape sounds a bit more brutal and aggresive - and both are old pressing. Maybe cause first time i heard this from tape?

Great stuff. Got it 10 years ago and still very fond of it. No matter what some other people say about it NOW.

Haha, it's my boxset in those pictures Wink
I actually had two back at the day, traded one with Yosuke a few years ago if my memory serves me right.
Great released, nothing to play actually, I only played it once, too much of a fuss changing the side each songs, but it's a great release for a collector who really appreciate this milestone album.

I still have two of these. One for trade if I ever find it.

I'm after the "Abominations..." box. I saw it back in 1992 on a record store in Madrid and if I'm not wrong, it came with a patch.

It came with Abominations and was to house Altars, Blessed & Abominations. A patch also came with it but the patch was pretty crap truth be told. Shame that Morbid Angel/Earache didn't put more effort into the release of Abominations when it originally came out.

Yosuke, over to you chief! Wink

THE ABOMINATIONS EARACHE VINYL SOUNDS MUCHO BETTER THEN THE ORIGINAL BOOTLEG PRESSING THATS FOR FUCKING SURE. GREAT RECORD.
