Gastunk double reunion gigs at shinjuku Loft in November 2006.
Went drinking with Max from Ghoul and the bassist from Reaction after the first night. Went back stage and chilled with the band the 2nd night. Tatsu from Gastunk is the reason I play guitar, it was a trip getting to tell him that.
The crowd both nights was absolutely alive. Ive never been so dead after a show. All in all an unforgettable experience.

I have been to so many great shows, I can't really choose the best.
I will name a few shows though that would rank high on my top list.

ARMAGEDDON FESTIVAL, LONDON 5-6 May 2010.

Been to a lot of festivals over the years, and this one was surely among the best. Watain celebrating the release of Lawless Darkness, first Repugnant performance since they broke up in 2004, First VON gig in 20 years, The Devil's Blood, Nifelheim, Vomitor and more.

MOTÖRHEAD at Sweden Rock Festival 2009.

The Loudest and Greatest band in the World.

SLAYER at Wacken Open Air 2010.

Had been waiting to see Slayer live since I was 5 years old. Last year it finally happened.

DESTROYER 666 in Sweden sometime in 2009.

Killer live band.

NEGATIVE PLANE in Reykjavík, 6th August 2011.

Incredible live band. They performed as a three piece, and it still sounded like straight of the album. One of the tightest BM live bands I've ever seen. My band also opened for Negative Plane that night. A night I will never forget.

URFAUST at Reykjavík Mars 2010

Trancendental Black Metal Magic Trip.

The first time I saw Inquisition, I was blown away by the sound and the fact that they have no live session members! Still the best show I 've seen up to now.

I'm not saying it was the "best" but I took my girlfriend to see Rammstein a few months ago and it was fucking awesome.

I was there too, was a great festival.

I'd probably say that Dissection/Watain in 2004 was the best show I've been to.

Motorhead, 2001, in Chico, California at the Brickworks... pretty small club, capacity of maybe 500 max. I was about three feet away from Lemmy. I almost didn't get to go to the show because I was broke, but I made just barely enough tips at my shitty fast food job to buy a ticket the day of the show. A stroke of luck really.

Not too sure about that, really.
By all means, Monotheist is actually quite a good record. But still...
