A few of my friends who are not familiar with the old English font or the name "Bathory" (not all of us are morbid death freaks!) have guessed the logo as "Batlord," and all things considered I think it's a very reasonable/understandable guess. I can certainly see how they came to that conclusion.

Still, I laugh a little bit every time.

I remember one time many years ago, I was at a Mc Donalds in Hollywood and I had a Bathory backpatch on my vest, and some grunge burn out that's standing behind me goes 'Alright! Bat Lord!'

That was embaressingly funny.

Some years ago I was with the DEICIDE "Legion" T shirt (the one with the Trifixion pcdesigned), and my mother told me:
- My son, finally you became Christian ! Question

I donīt know why, but my mother tends to misunderstand Metal T-shirts...

She told me once that in the DEICIDE logo, she read clearfully: DECIDETE (in spanish, translated would be: DECIDE YOURSELF !)
Shocked

how do you pronounce megadeth wrong? deth and death are both said the same.

When I was 14, I used to bring in a CD walkman and sit with my friends at lunch and listen to various metal CDs. What was amusing was one time when some chavs/wiggers came up and started asking what we were listening to and I showed them the Deicide CD (this being the debut), and they then asked who "Decide" were. That has always made me chuckle every now and then.
