| Any fans? I really love their first album! truly epic and well made. Everytime I go to some distros, they always describe them as an NS band, any truth to that? then I saw their supposedly myspace and it's said that they are not a political band at all, any thoughts? Great band nonetheless. |

I really dig their music as well and it's a shame to hear that they are supposedly calling it a day. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that they are not a NS band. Killer band regardless of any possible political views.

One of my favourite bands. Love all their stuff and the Sacramentary Abolishment albums.
I think people think they're an NS band because they sometimes have lyrics about war and maybe, if youtube comments are anything to go by, the comments they made on Blasphemy in a SA interview.

I find them more interesting musically compared to Revenge, irrespective of their political views.

I'm a a non-white bloke and know these guys quite well, and I can assure you that Axis of Advance is NOT an NS band. Distros have a 'way' of reading into things when a band deals with certain subject matters such as elitism, war, observation on history / politics etc.
AoA are elitist dicks to people in general, it has fuck all to do with their color / ethnicity / social status. |

Well they don´t have those.
My wild guess is that they get lumped in the NS box as they use military vocabular and imagery... maybe one logo version with runes also contributed to it.
I never perceived AOA as an NS band, no matter how dumb the statement from the above mentioned interview may be.
I have "Strike" which is quite good.

'The List' is fantastic. They manage to mix pure aggression and epicness together seamlessly. I never saw them live. I saw Revenge live last year and they were savage. They are les interesting on CD, though.
