Not that their production is "bad", it's just that digital recording causes their guitar sound to squelch in a non musical way. Maybe the LPs are better, I only have the CDs.
They have good riffs and a semi original sound, that is why people like them. |

the first Nokturnal Mortum's are good if you can stand the usual ukrainian keyboard attaks as well as Lucifugum which I like a little bit more. Great Horn "Trizna After Sunset" demo is really good too.All of them have an epic athmosphere.
I second Moonblood for their full lengths

Heard the first stuff was way better but well, this one was very disappointing

You could be right. I only have the CD so it could possibly sound better on vinyl.

I agree... everything after Doomed to Die has been average at best. That one and Hail Victory Teutonia are excellent, though. |
