not the answer you're looking for I'm sure, but my advice is don't do them. Worst format ever is digicraps.

If you are to do handmade digipaks,do make sure that the teeth that holds the cd doesn't come off as it will be difficult to glue it back together.

Also take a look at Angra Mainyu's Versunkenheit digipak album done by Haunters Of The Dark, its very well done with a black sponge or something holding the cd..

I don't mind the better quality digipaks (Nominon's last album was in a really good one), but I hate the teeth issue. The manufacturers of these things should be ashamed of themselves. Those teeth if anything are even more fragile than a traditional jewel case, and once they break out you have no choice but to replace the whole damn CD. All they would have to do is switch to a different method of holding the CD in - I own a number of CDs with much more durable holders that don't rely on those teeth. The holders in DVD cases for instance are almost impossible to break without trying.

I also wish more digipaks would be sold in slipcases or plastic sleeves. They're not theoretically any more damage-prone than LP sleeves, but LPs show up most of the time already in plastic. Digipaks don't, and it's harder to track down protection for them.

Yes I've seen those on the Isolation cds as well, it's true it's better than the plastic teeth.
