I think Old Funeral are great, but they're one of those bands to me I always forget about and rediscover every 6 months, love and then forget for the next 6 months again. Certainly better than any of the turgid shit Immortal have released, but I couldn't say it was better than Burzum.
I've never been much of a fan of Thou Shalt Suffer though. I think the terrible quality of the recordings ruined some of it for me. |

Tore Bratseth (far left in the photo) of OLD FUNERAL played in a Motorhead tribute band called BOMBERS these days. I'm not sure this band still around or not but here's the flyer of the early BOMBERS' gig....
