You surely haven't missed anything, I can tell you! They just lost it somehow already after "The Years Of Decay", "Horrorscope" is pretty decent, though. Anytime I bothered to listen to any of their stuff after that, it never got to me, and some shit was really mediocre (at best!). Early OVERKILL indeed SHREDS!! _________________ "Slit my eyes, for they'll remember..." |

For me it has to be "Taking Over" their masterpiece...it has the best songs of the band, and it is quite variated without sounding "weird" or forced as some ot the last releases...by the way, I just cannot stand anything after "Horroroscope", it all sounds so dull and predictable...and Blitz vocals has been turning more and more like Donald Duck, which in this case is not good...but anyway, they have a great legacy...and they were one of the few speed/thrash bands that were officially released in vinyl in Mexico by their parent label. _________________ Unbound celestial assassins... |

I fucking love Overkill!!!! For me, Feel The Fire and Years of Decay are ace, but almost all I can spin anytime. Overkill was a crucial part of my (still going) youth and is still one of my faves. Killer chops, whipping thrash and totally correct attitude!
Cant wait to do merch for the Overkill/Toxic Holocaust US tour in September, HAHAHAHA. Talk about Overkill, literally. |

I don't like them, though the '80s era was great with cool albums! |
