I would ask the exact same question...the official release was also recorded with a drum machine so I do not see anything special in mentioning that in this bootleg description:

"The DEMO RECORDING most people do not even know exists! This is RAW but great sounding and really adds a different feel to the ěThe Spider's Lullabye" album which is quite possibly the most underrated King Diamond album. Recorded with a drum machine somewhere between 1990 and 1995 when the band left Roadrunner and were shopping around for a new record label to release ěThe Spider's Lullabye" known today. The audio was taken directly from a leaked source tape ensuring best sound quality possible"

Where have you got the source saying that The Spiders Lullabye studioalbum was recorded with a drummachine? First time I've ever heard someone claiming that actually.

Well, it's special for the die hard fans who wants to hear the demo, bit rawer and unpolished. I sure found it to be a great release.

Isn't that obvious? It must be that or they got a terribly basic drummer...

Hehe, I'd rather go with Darrin being a very basic drummer. He wasn't all that good, that I have to admit,
just following the flow of the music, not doing much of himself like for example Mikkey Dee did.
