I would love a vinyl or two with all the bonus tracks from the re-issues. The one from Painkiller (Living Bad Dreams) is such a fukkin' killer track!!
I also like the Race With The Devil cover from Sin After Sin quite a bit.

I'm sure this has been said already... All you need are the 70's albums and they are readily available in used record stores for $5 each.

I'd prefer if they paired the bonus tracks with the appropriate albums. Hearing a Ram It Down ("Fire Burns Below") outtake after Stained Class is kind of uncool, despite it being an okay song.

I like the stuff they did after the 70s as well but yeah, they are generally pretty cheap, so these reissues don't seem entirely neccessary to me either.

Great point indeed. What was the idea of putting a live version of Jawbreaker on "Sin After Sin" and a live version of Riding On The Wind on "Hell Bent For Leather". I have the Japanese Import Priest LP's up to, and including "Defenders" so the re-issues are of no use.

Not sure if you guys will be interested in this or not, but Steve Hoffman is remastering "Hellbent for Leather" on CD for AudioFidelity.

Hoffman uses the Original Analog masters when remastering too.

NO ONE should buy these. I would bet that comparing the original 70's vinyl to these would be I laughing stock. Priest sounds terrible on the remasters, and I'd bet that BOB is just using the digital audio from the remasters.

I have Stained Class on remastered CD and original vinyl. I think the CD sounds better.

Maybe at low volume, but it kills me to turn it full blast, it's mastered too compressed. Imagine the vinyl as a tube amplifier, it doesn't shine until you turn it up. But the CD gets the job done at low to normal volume.
