I don't know why, but I associate these guys with Infester, most likely because both bands released fantastic records during pockets of the 90's when death metal was especially uninteresting and latter-day Sepultura clones roamed about.

Good band, also listening to Night Conquers Day and Tearstained. But Shadowcaster sucks.

Really, really great. When these guys slow down they do remind me of Infester in parts. I wrote a review for Last Rays of the Moon in the "lost classics" section of my zine a while back.

Never been into this band, it sounds interesting to me since I like Tearstained but I think music its different.

I'll have to dig a bit to find something from Buried Beneath.

Hm, the blog where I dowloaded* "The Last Rays of the Moon" has disappeared, sorry.

*Just for the record: I bought the two CDs from Night Conquers Day, one from Tearstained and I even imported that shitty Shadowcaster-CD, so Mr. Bayusik is well sponsored from my side....

Buried Beneath sounds more like Night Conquers Day, which are better than Tearstained IMHO. Buried Beneath is just more Death Metal.

Good thing I got my copy from someone else, then. I just noticed my CD's booklet is cut at odd angle. Anyone else have this peculiarity?

They barely got away with writing ten minute songs. That is sure recipe for disaster, but they avoided it for the most part.
