I'll probably get a CD off minge if he has them. Also up for an LP version which would be great!

Yep, very good idea with a vinyl-release.

And no, Black Mark stopped vinyl versions with BMLP21 (Necrosanct - Incarnate LP). Furbowl was BMCD47...

You are now confusing "Those Shredded Dreams" to "The Autumn Years" which is also excellent and vinyl-version would be nice too.

And anyway, thanks for the tip! No need to find NECROSANCT Desolate LP anymore.... TED! DO IT!
. I'm in talks now with vic records for a vinyl release of "Those Shredded Dreams" + the 3 demos. Hopefully it will work out. I'll post news when it's a go, but it looks good as of now.

I've actually only ever heard "TSD" but I would love to have this and the demos on vinyl.fantastic stuff. How is the "Autumn Years"?

are you being forced to buy it like?

If they put even half the effort into the vinyl of this that they did with the Purtenance reissue it'll be worth the pricetag.

Nice... but for me, THE AUTUMN YEARS will always be the true Furbowl masterpiece!!!

Do a FURBOWL shirt!

More "death 'n roll" (if you don't mind that term - before Wolverine Blues anyway!), AWESOME vocals by Johan Liiva (like a cross between LG Petrov and Peter Steele in his CARNIVORE days on this + some Carl McCoy impressions of course), some d-beat, crunchy riffs and get a load of this... TASTEFUL gothic influences - think Fields of the Nephilim!

One of my favourite Swedish metal albums actually.

Couple of songs here: http://www.myspace.com/furbowl - Bury the Hatchet and Cold World (KILLER song!!!).

Both Furbowl albums kick ass! I have an extra copy of The Autumn Years if anybody is interested too (yeah I'm just too busy (or is it lazy?) to list on eBay / update trade lists).

The new cover art is atrocious. Well, it's a nice image... for a modern day prog band Razz I'll def pick it up, but not because of the cover art.

I really hope Vic does this release full justice (cover art aside). I inquired about the rights but Vic wanted to do it themselves.

I know a Crypt version would rule. Ted: DO IT!

Well, I could always put half the effort into it and release a bare-bones, sub-par, shitty version like most labels do with classic re-issues and charge half my normal price if that would work better Wink

I think it's clear there is overwhelming demand for a 6" flexi of this, imported from Russia.

Ok, so we got the green light to do a vinyl version of "Those Shredded Dreams" so it is now official. Although we plan on using the original cover art for the LP jacket which we feel is appropriate, we felt that the poster artwork should be more striking, as the original cover layout is not entirely flattering. Rather than hire a well known artist, we prefer to go underground with this and are considering an artist on the NWN forum who would be interested in creating an illustration for the Furbowl poster art, and possibly for the T shirts as well. We're looking for something that would have an old school vibe yet be appropriate to the release. We are NOT looking for digital artists, rather a traditional illustrator who uses classic art media.

Anyone interested please PM me with online samples and rates. Thanks much ~ Ted
