I'm quite sure Erik does them all himself. At last for the most part.

I know Erik does a lot of the layouts/frames for Watain and other bands as well, but Im not too sure he did the covers.

I will check my LP's when I get home from work and find out for sure, unless someone beats me to it.

In looking for information regarding Watain's cover art, I came across this interview with Erik.....the journalist is a complete jackass/goofball, but it is a pretty funny read to see Erik's answers to these ridiculous questions. The interviewer thinks Watain got their name from a band called "VOX"..haha, that should tell you a lot about the interviewer.

On topic: Erik says they do their own artwork...

I've never seen that WATAIN tour poster. Were they sold at the show? I don't recall seeing it.

Yeah, All of Watain's album artwork, and concert poster artwork is amazing. That poster is amazing! Who does Watain use for their art? does anybody know?

Timo Ketola did the Casus and Sworn cover art, not sure about RDC. Erik does the layouts.

Am I the only one here who likes Wes Benscoter's album covers?

Also, speaking of Kris Verwimp, this new Goreaphobia cover art is one of his best works:

Absolutely awesome, nice obscure colours and best of all it reminds me of Soulside Journey!

That's great artwork, but the integration of the logo isn't so great. That's one problem I have with a lot of metal album covers, awesome artwork with paste on logos.

I liked some Wes Benscoter stuff, but it always looks too clean and not textured. (at least the stuff that I've seen)

Kris Verwimp

Those Of the Unlight cover rules!

He's got a cool spread in the new Juxtapose art mag....

30-40$ ?? No way, they were $10 only. I bought two of them and sent one to a friend. there is no way I would have spent $30-$40 on a poster, let alone two of them!

Scott Stearns is iconic. Period.

Could kick my ass for not having thought of him earlier.

Ketola has done most of Watain's artwork, it seems like E. has taken over more of that in recent days.

Nobody has mentioned Manuel Tinnemans?
