The moment I heard Blasphemy I thought they were fucking amazing! I prefer Canadian and Finnish black metal to the Norwegians. Though obviously I enjoy early Darkthrone, Mayhem, Emperor (especially the demo!), the other countries were better. My favourite Mayhem LP is Deathcruch and I prefer the brutal and evil black metal (ala Beherit, Blasphemy, Archgoat, Sarcofago, Mystifier, hopefully you get where I'm coming from!)
