Is there anyone who knows the history of this legendary label? All the releases, when it was established and when it died and why it did die, any further info will be much appreciated! Thanks!

Yeah it was run by the Magus but the Kingdom of... release was released under the Soundphaze label and I think it wasn't Hyperborea at all... All Hyperborea releases where recorded in the infamous storm studio

Well I guess financial problems, few would give a fuck about such bands. Also At that time Storm studio closed for good with last recording being Magus project Wampyre Shadowolf. So no more studio from Mr Daoloth for bands to record their stuff there = more costs.
Hmmm not sure but guess Zemial cd also had the Subterra logo but I doubt it was some normal label since Sub Terra back then was the monthly article on greek metal hammer magazine dedicated to the underground so I guess there was a connection with the editor of that article.

Zemial and Agatus were co-released with SubTerra.

The first Legion of Doom album was recorded for them but it was released as Soundphaze International (with an address in Germany) because of the NS artwork and statements. Even then most copies were distributed with the booklet glued in one piece all together. After the first bunch of cds they had the original artwork changed anyway.

The 2nd Legion of Doom album and Order of the ebon Hand were released as Hypervorea only.

Everything is probably limited to 500 and the LoD debut with the uncensored art much less than that. After that they went on with Black Lotus records...

Black Lotus was run also by the Magus but it was some years later so it can't be meant as a continuation of Hypervorea. Black Lotus started after Magus being on greek Metal Invader magazine together with the editor of that magazine.
And yes first Legion of Doom with uncencored artwork is very limited. After sending the first copies they got threats from Osmose and other companies to stop distributing this so they started putting glued papers on the swastika on every copy they still had.
All Hypervorea releases were limited to 500 that's a fact.
