What do you think of Hawkwind? Another band I will mention that I'm very keen on.

Absolutely one of my favourite bands... fave albums would be Space Ritual and Warrior On the Edge of Time.

Tangerine Dream.
Phaedra and Rubycon are their best, with Rubycon being one of my favourite albums off all time.
Also a big fan of Peter Baumann - Romance '76.

I think that both Cyclone and Force Majeure are both seriously overlooked TD albums, same goes for Ricochet. I've never checked out any of Peter Baumann's albums though - which is best to start with?

Ryan, maybe you've just been checking out the wrong Yes and ELP stuff? Drama by Yes is very under-rated, and a bit heavier than their other stuff - if you've not given that one a go, maybe you should! ELP's Tarkus to me is a really fantastic album, I can see why people would just see it as "showy" or even ridiculous, but I think it's a really good album.

Thanks for the tips, I will have to check those out if I find 'em around here. I admit I haven't heard much from those guys since what I did hear turned me off so bad, haha...

I'll try and remember those names too, only got Fragile and Close to the Edge by Yes and with ELP just Brain Salad Surgery (latter is not in the best condition but its the one that opens like a gate and it still looks awesome nonetheless)
