Interesting, all these comments about the production. I can understand probably 80% of the lyrics with ease. Is our hearing that different?

After several full plays behind me now, I actually quite like this new album. No complaints here. I think I'll always like Phoenix Rising the best mind you, however they are all pretty decent albums.

About the extra track missing, I got a copy with that track. It fucking rocks as well. Very fast and heavy.

The track moves so quickly it's over before it begins.

I'm assuming this was a joke. The reply I got from Season of Mist was:

It is correct that there are nine tracks on the album, the tenth title is something to philosophize aboutů

Exactly... silence, stillness, solitude. Here you find "the" truth. Aware! Beware! War! The message is clear for those with eyes to see (keep your eyes open at night!).

Thus the essence of D'666 since the 6 songs demo. The light of Lucifer shines bright, now and for all time.

I'll end my rant here Twisted Evil

AWARE! BEWARE! Hells Headbangers have been granted permission to release the following three DESTROYER 666 albums as deluxe picture LPs (w/ outer covers, etc):

-"Defiance" (new album for 2009)
-"Cold Steel... For An Iron Age" (2002 album, new cover artwork)
-"Phoenix Rising" (2000 album)

We will have stock of the "Defiance" album on CD sometime in July

"DEFIANCE" OVERVIEW:
The long-awaited fourth full-length album of these Australian warheads overwhelms all resistance by massive strikes of crushing riffs and constantly pushing guitars. A pounding barrage of the hammering rhythm section prepares the ground for fast advancing songs with their trademark sound established with the critically acclaimed debut Unchain the Wolves (1997). Already acclaimed by the Metal press, Defiance redefines the extreme Metal genre with melodic hymns of stunning atmospheric density. Join the unstoppable advance of Defiance or be swept away into oblivion!

TRACK LIST: 1. Weapons of Conquest, 2. I am not Deceived, 3. Blood for Blood, 4. The Barricades Are Breaking, 5. A Stand Defiant, 6. A Path to Conflict, 7. A Thousand Plagues, 8. Human all too Human, 9. A Sermon to the Dead

Listened to the new Destroyer 666 and the vocals are easy to understand and the production basically has no complaints from me and also the production is sure as hell way better than half these other bands with their tape recording production. I will be buying the new Destroyer 666 album soon.
