Yeah me too, I snagged it as soon as I saw it. Great sound quality on the thing and I love the terrible album cover. Laughing

I didn't realize though, that exact material is already on the 15 Year Killing Spree box (which I don't own). So other than the novelty of having it on vinyl, I guess it's sort of pointless.

Does anyone here have both and notice if there's a difference in sound quality at all?

Bootlegs are great. I support bootlegging any and every release. Bootlegging pisses off the fan and the artist and the label, and that is a good thing. The more misery and anger and frustration caused the better. Never stop the bootlegging

So, I missed the post in some threads, but are the recent Grand Belials Key reissues bootlegs? I got the Kosherat pic and Judeobeast.
First time I've heard them on vinyl, so I can't make any comparisons, but they sound fine to me.

Are you seriously confused or is this just a piss take? Drakkar & WTC GBK releases are all official.

Bootlegs are never as good as official releases and every one hates them, unless it's a cool release then everyone is on board. A lot of hypocrisy in this area.

That's right, I am/was confused. Like I said, I missed something in the GBK and it seemed like people were calling them bootlegs. Maybe I missed a post where they were talking about sth else.

i don't really condone them, but it's quite understandable why they happen and why people buy them.

Now counterfeit items I 100% despise and really don't understand why people buy them.

+1

Only case where I can understand so called "bootleg" releases are live recordings. But bootlegging official releases... Don't understand it. Anyone who has tried f.ex to find genuine Under One Flag CD pressings knows how shitty it is to find several Russian bootlegs of Sarcofago Rotting before finding the actual original one. Fuck off to anyone who supports polluting the market with stupid bootlegs.

Hope to witness one day when someone will finally fuck all the shit out bootlegging Katharsis 666 LP, certainly not to buy it but enjoy the inevitable drama on this board. Laughing

I basically agree with the above posts.

Lives and demos at a normal price = Generally ok

Counterfeit stuff = Generally not ok

I know of a few instances where the band bootlegged themselves due to a shitty situation with their label. I guess that's usually ok too.

I have no moralistic issue with them but a lot of them are just bad. Especially vinyl. Made from poor elements and mastered from whatever mp3 files they found on the web or even worse ripped from Youtube. If nothing else there's a good chance they are going sound like a bowl of Rice Krispies and the cover is going to chip.

it's the only way to have a decent copy of Sororicide - The Entity since the band is too adult now. It is funny how death metal made by 17 year olds that is looked back on by the members as immature and foolishness is pretty much the best death metal is going to get. Miasma, Infester, Sororicide etc
