Few spins behind and I have quite mixed feelings. Production is quite bad like on Hail of Bullets..too clean. I think I 'd like this more if I hadn't heard HoB. Looking forward to see 'em live though.

I was blown away by the new Asphyx as well. It's their best material since "Embrace The Death". Their demos and "Mutilating Process" rule, too.

You do know that Embrace the Death is their debut?

Amm, no it isn't. Their debut is "The Rack" actually - '91.

New album is solid; van Drunen's vocals are still good, the riffs are decent.

I think his point is "Embrace the death" is made and recorded before the rack.

I bought my copy in Nuclear Blast, but it is sold out from there now. Anyway, they still annoce the red vinyl version in the future... I don't know who is relesing it, but it should be in stock soon. Also Perveted Taste had it, but it is sold out now too.

Given it one listen and it was in one ear out the other.

See how it goes the next couple of spins.
