It doesn't matter if it's "white" or "black"....
Those dumb "ideologists" suck. |
could you elaborate a bit, examples of bands you mean by this...? |
No names needed...
If I start pointing this or that band then I would be the militant here.
I think Metal music is about breaking rules, not about making them.
With this sense of freedom, one may write about whatever he wants.
It's just a matter of evaluating what you listen, what you believe and what you support.
Think about it. |

| Personally, I don't give a fuck about religion either way and only care about the sound of the music. In my opinion, sometimes the satanic imagery is just as outlandish and stupid as the Christian stuff. I just don't care. I don't know whether that makes me an atheist or an agnostic but for sure I don't need a "higher being" in life to justify the choices that I have made, and certainly don't rely on anyone or anything to make them for me or an organization to tell me whether those choices are right or wrong. |

Yeah, think for yourself, "do what thou wilt"...
That's the point. |

| Well you have to figure that people have been arguing and shedding blood over this subject for hundreds of years and much like politics, nothing will ever come to a head from posts on a forum or otherwise. |

Believer debut album is fantastic "Extraxtion from mortality" and I will look for the reissue.
Living Sacrifice first s/t album is great Slayer worship...hehehe...
I have a CD by Lengsel and it is twisted blacky metal and I think they are christian or catholic...
And Devastation (TX) is a great band and I think they are also religious or at least believers...
Most of my friends, family, even my wife & kids are raised in the catholic church...only me the big atheist...in fact I was early very much anti-religion almost to intolerance, but you grew older and wiser, and simply live and let die as long as they don't push it down your throat...but I can help to be more attracted to a big pentagram and inverted cross in a cover art than anything else...hehe rebellious! _________________ Unbound celestial assassins... |

| THUNDER RIDER is really good epic heavy metal from Canada... They don't consider themselves Christian Metal, but some of their lyrics are. |
