Distribute NWN merch/records through your area. Cool

I've thought about it, spending my last $2000 to my name on wholesale, keeping a copy of the special color and begging others to buy a copy from me lest I have to eat at work... which means from garbage cans folks.

Does Ignivomous have anything new in the works?

When people talk about underrated bands, this is one of the first that come to mind.

I heard they're working on a new album?

Exactly, totally under-rated band. Back in the day when there was only a handful of new "OSDM" bands Ignivmous absolutely blew my mind alongside Dead Congregation, Funebrarum and Crucifire and made death metal dark and exciting again.

Agreed. I'd also throw Cruciamentum in there. Wait — you're in Cruciamentum, aren't you?

Maybe! Wink

I revisted the entire Ignivomous discography recently, all killer no filler! Looking forwards to more!

I need to relisten to this bands discography. It's been several years.

I had a friend who saw them when they played w/ Immolation in Australia earlier in the year and he said they were still killer live! Hope a new record is in the works, rather big fan of the previous full lengths.

I can confirm a new album is being worked on. Early days, but the wheels are in motion.

It's been a long time coming but the wheels are well and truly in motion. Around 2/3rds of the way through the writing process and anticipating doing the main recording sessions through quarter 1 2019. Current lineup (as a 5 piece) is working really well together and we've had a very productive year in terms of writing and doing a handful of gigs. We're far from being social media hype-beasts and as such have held off saying much till we got to this point. But expect a lot of activity through 2019

Ok, something more concrete:

There will be a new Ignivomous album out this year, entitled "Heiroglossia". We are looking at entering the studio in early June all going according to plan. 2019 lineup is:

S.Hinds: guitar
L. Fischer (Altars): Guitar
J. Edwards: vocals
C. Jordan (Inverloch, Eschaton): Bass
C. Volcano: drums

Tracks will include:

Heiroglossia
Gaunt redemtion parasite
Circle of scythes
Vitriolic swarm
Cloaked in resplendant perdition
Shackles of the demiurge

Every band talks about their new shit being the best they have done, im too close to it to comment other than to say theres a really destinctive atmosphere around these songs that we are very excited about capturing. Youll have to wait and see.

For those in Australia (or melbourne more particularly), we will be supporting Primitive Man in April and Incantation (!!!!!) In June.

Full details of a European tour with Tchornobog (Us/Ukr) in Aug/Sep will be announced soon. This will take in KTDF in Copenhagen and Morbid Catacombs fest in Berlin, full dates TBA. Interested promotors get in touch with the killtown team.

So, the wheels of confusion are certainly rolling and there will be more news soon.

Fucking yes! Just some days ago I was wondering if there would be any new recordings or if the band was dead. Will play some Ignivomous this weekend to celebrate it.

Perfect.
Besides the crushing audial barrage Ignivomous do have excellent lyrics, they might actually the most well-written ones by a far stretch for me.

Abyssic (aka shamelss) plug: Due to trades I ended up with double copies of the first album on picture and the second one on plain black vinyl, willing to trade/sell.
