It's an amazing record and has become one of my all time favorite metal albums. The riffs are pretty much unparalleled.

I really dig the Ancient Death ep.

Buddy of mine sent this to me a few days ago. Looks like the Winds of Fall 12" is getting closer to release.

I think Pentacle is a genuinely cult band, and also a band who want to preserve the status of their old vinyl releases as special, limited items (can't say I agree with such a stance, but that's totally up to them).

No one has made any official mention of a DLP "...Rides the Moonstorm" re-issue and I'll wager that we'll never see it happen either.

Their CD's don't carry the same protected status in the mind of the band and all their CD releases have been reissued at various times...I guess that's something, at least.

Nice, I'm getting one of these as soon as they're available! I'm not certain that a limitation of 300 is even enough for a band of Pentacle's somewhat underrated standing, but I won't wait to find out.

I wish Dark Symphonies/The Crypt would reissue their stuff. Would do such a great band justice also.

Good to see Pentacle receiving some well-deserved praise. They have always been and will forever be criminally underrated. Their discography is completely flawless.

The demo on vinyl looks killer. I will get one, no matter what. Here's to hoping the new material will also be unleashed soon. UGH!

I will be getting copies, confirmed. Pretty hard limitation for such a band, and such a damn good demo.

Yeah, they could easily press and sell at least 500 of these I feel. Hopefully I don't miss out on this.

It seems that the demo on LP will be available in ten days...at least through Iron Pegasus!

The countdown has begun....

You think? I'm under the impression that a release like Pentacle will sell a few hundred copies instantly to some long-time fans, then the following few hundred copies take years to move.

In 2005 I saw Pentacle perform a show for an audience of 3 people, myself included. It was organized by Szpajdel and after that show he decided to stop doing gigs and moved to the UK.

By the way, why did they use the same picture as on the Exalted journey 7" for the backcover? Surely there must be some other pictures existing of this line-up?

And another by the way, Deathworx is also doing the Black shepherd 'United evil forces' demo on vinyl. I wanted to do that one myself but never found enough time and motivation to get it going. I hope they will make it a worthwhile release.

Same thoughts here about the selling and it is pretty sad because people prefer modern sound instead of a pure and genuine old school DM band.

2 or 3 years ago in Parma, there was a Pentacle's gig with Ares Kingdom, two of the most underrated band, and only 30 people attended the concert. Surely the date in the middle of the week doesn't help but it isn't the right recognition for two massive band.

300 is a nice amount for a demo on LP.

Pentacle is a cult band and their following is dedicated but SMALL. Even in the Netherlands they don't attract many people as their style simply isn't so popular, let alone 'hip'.

On topic: I will stock this LP and I'm guessing my little Pentacle obscurity will be out during the same time.

Yeah, that strikes me as a little odd too. I've seen a few old photos around and I'm sure there were some cool demo era shots in "The Fifth Moon... Beyond And Back" 2CD compilation. Some looked pretty "amateur" hehe, but they were essentially tied to those times and with their own particular charm.
