I didn't like it at first either, but they grew on me. And while the music didn't quite reach the same heights as SA and AoA, it was still above most new extreme metal releases.

Indeed it was a strange combination so to say. For the first didn't click, but after a while grew on me as well. Out of this unusal combination a beast was born, no other records like this.

The sweet female vocals in the middle of Axis' "Structural interpretation..." also sound very unconventional in contrast to J Read going berserk but it's insanely good moment and adds whole new layer to it on the album version.

The Distracting Stone is just stunning in its grotesque beauty, like if Thergothon went Black/Death, I would loathe to lump it in with most other goat and gasmask crap. Any other album(s) that evokes a similar feeling ?, other than AoA and Rites..

Has anyone seen or heard this demo?

I have been searching for it for YEARS with no avail.

I'm sure a few folks in the Edmonton scene from the old days might know about it...
