Yeah, I bought this 2nd hand from a shop in Hamilton! That was about 3 -4 years back. A couple of blokes opened a record store there, carried alot of mostly used Metal/Punk/HC vinyls. Real good blokes too. Wasn't opened that long and closed after a matter of months (maybe a year of more) Was a real Aladins cave and I made several journeys there.

As well as the Burzum LP I got a few other major scores for very good prices. Sadistik Exekution The Magus LP, Darkthrone Soulside Journey original 1st press LP, Gospel Of The Horns Sinners demo, Vomitor Roar of War demo, Autopsy Severed Survival original LP plus alot of other cool stuff.

I decided to put this up for trade, so I hope those guys arn't offended with me trying to "profit" from their sale to me. None of the other stuff I will ever trade or sell.

Yeah NZ would have been a bit of a gold mine in the mid 90's I reckon. By the time I got there in 2000 REal Groovy had outta control prices and the owner of Wonderland had cottoned on to Ebay. Man that guy had like 15 copies of shit... out the back it was fucking crazy! He was trying to sell it all on ebay. I greatly regret not buying their copy of the first D666 on LP but I still worked at Mod Invasion at the time and it was one of those things where you think you'll just grab another. That seems to be fetching a dollar now.

I guess the other way to look at it is that someone down the track is always gonna capitalise on these records, so who better than you???

The guys from EAL gave me a copy of Mutiilation 'Vampires'. I thought I did well selling it for $100 AUD. They went some years later for $1300 US. Sad but true... esp as it wasn't a desired sell. Cursed studio costs he he

Yes It's astounding looking back at the records you bought years back that are now worth a fucking packet, but also gutwrenching thinking of those you decided to leave behind because you thought you'd just get it "later" or that the seller was asking too much, or you just needed the money for booze...Kicking myself now.

Coincidently the D666 debut LP is one of my top priority wants. Don't see it come up often at all.

Yeah it's crazy as it was not exactly sought after when initially released, though many things can be thought of in the same way. I have no intention o parting with mine he he, but nothing is forever I suppose...
