I admit I like "Covenant" and "Domination" the best for their heavy, slowed/dommier sound. "Covenant" has one of the best metal covers I have ever seen. |

That's actually a long overdue appreciation for BATS!! When push comes to shove, it is eventually my favourite MORBID ANGEL album! Although, while having such a legendary backcatalogue anyway, this one's criminally underrated!! _________________ "Slit my eyes, for they'll remember..." |

Couldn't agree more. "Blessed..." was the first Morbid Angel album I listened to and it still sends shivers down my spine. A perfect combination between their unreal technical riffs, their morbid brutality and their charismatic songwriting, not to mention Vincent's mesmerizing vocal work. I worship almost their entire catalog but I recognize that "Heretic" was frankly bellow their standars of quality. ""Gateways..." was an ok album and "Formulas..." is relentless great material. |

I like AOMs cover too. It was used for some of the sky and wall textures in Doom II. |

It's a tie between Abominations of Altars for me. Sometimes I'm more in the mood for the filthy thrash of Abominations, and sometimes more in the mood for the intense-as-all-hell death metal of Altars. Blessed is excellent too, but I like Abominations and Altars more. Didn't really like anything after that. They sounded a little too tired in my opinion, but then again I never really cared enough to give it that much of a chance. |

I always thought "Reign in Blood" was overrated; a great record for sure, but not Slayer at their darkest & heaviest. "Hell Awaits" is the magnum Slayer opus for me. |

Angel Of Death and Piece By Piece is good but I dont need more from Reign In Blood
Show No Mercy and the Live Undead MLP is still the best Slayer stuff for me. The punk influence is very strong there. |

yeah I also think Reign In Blood is a little overrated. It's good, but I like the first two a lot better. I can't really choose between Hell Awaits and Show No Mercy. Both are absolutely amazing. |
